About
I specialize in developing teaching approaches that reach students from diverse backgrounds and prepare them for a future increasingly shaped by global technology change.
As a technologist, I monitor the latest developments in data analytics. I support teaching and learning centered on structuring, manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting datasets. I work with faculty and students across all stages of the research process, from developing questions to crafting evidence based arguments grounded in critical data studies.
As a scholar, I explore the intersection of technology, culture, and ecology in Chinese culture. Specifically, I analyze Chinese science fictions through the lenses of STS and environmental studies. I bring together digital humanities methods with approaches from analogue literary and cultural studies to produce novel insights.
I welcome you to view my previous scholarship on the research page, digital projects on the projects page, and sample course syllabi on the teaching page.
